Located in the heart of Burford, one of the most historic and picturesque towns in Oxfordshire, our small and friendly caravan site Burford provides an ideal retreat for those wishing to unwind at a gentler pace. Burford’s famous High Street, traditional inns, independent shops and riverside walks are all just a short stroll away.

 

The site is perfectly positioned for discovering the wider Cotswolds, with easy access to scenic walking routes, charming villages and popular destinations. Guests often enjoy exploring the area by car, with well-known stops such as The Farmer’s Dog nearby for food and countryside walks, making this a convenient base for touring the region.

 

Set within a mature garden environment, this dog-friendly caravan site offers a real sense of privacy and space. Each pitch is thoughtfully arranged within its own individual bay, naturally screened by established trees and shrubs. The peaceful setting attracts a wide variety of birds and wildlife, creating a relaxed atmosphere that feels far removed from larger, busier parks.

 

We welcome touring caravans and motorhomes, with the majority of pitches being hardstanding, alongside a limited number of grass pitches available during the spring and summer months. All pitches include electric hook-up and are designed for comfort, ease of access and an enjoyable stay.

 

To preserve the tranquil nature of the park, Wysdom Touring Park is an adult-only caravan site in Oxfordshire and is not suitable for children or under-18s. This approach allows guests to fully enjoy the peaceful surroundings, whether relaxing on site or using Burford as a base for sightseeing, walking and dining throughout the Cotswolds.

 

For guest comfort and security, the vehicle entrance gate is closed overnight between 22:00 and 07:15, while 24-hour pedestrian access remains available.

The site is open all year, offering a welcoming and peaceful place to stay in every season.
